Political program

To liberate and restore the territory of Paanywaa from helpless Ethiopian and South Sudan regimes, where democratic and human rights are fully protected and respected, the UPM has established the following.

1. To liberate the people of Paanywaa from Ethiopia and South Sudan’s helpless governments and establish Paanywaa, where democratic and human rights are fully protected and respected.

2. To set up and strengthen democratic institutions and good governance to ensure that the people of Paanywaa enjoy the fruits of their struggle, democracy, and the rule of law in shaping and developing their country.

3. UPM will ensure that the constitution, public services, Parliament, and new forms of democracy enhance the participation of the people of Paanywaa in decision-making to build a strong country and democratic culture.

4. UPM is committed to creating democratic and human rights awareness through community and civic education to enhance political consciousness and participation of the people of Paanywaa in the liberation struggle.

5.   UPM is committed to resisting any lousy policy forces by both governments on our freedom through political and military means if we are forced to do so.

6.     UPM stood for equality, social justice, and freedom of the people of Paanywaa. Through this process, the people of Paanywaa will enjoy all opportunities, reach their potential, participate fully in the economic, social, and political life, and take leadership/ ownership to build solid political culture and democratic and good governance in the Paanywaa Republic.

7. UPM fights discrimination, chauvinism, racism, witchcraft, and egoism to promote mutual understanding, respect, political tolerance, patriotism, and unity among its people.

8. UPM supports liberation movements fighting against the Ethiopian Government to gain freedom, justice, rights, and self-determination.

9. UPM believes recognizing human and democratic rights in Paanywaa contributes to a more inclusive society. It is committed to promoting awareness and understanding of human rights to build confidence, trust, and unity based on democracy and social justice values.

10 UPM will follow International human rights obligations and seek them to be incorporated into domestic laws and legislation and be considered in the administrative decision-making process, policies, and standards. 

11. The divide-and-rule policies and tribal conflict resolution mechanism used/used by the successive Ethiopian regimes, including EPRDF, brought/brought disunity, hostility, and mistrust among the people of Paanywaa. These mechanisms have been used to divide people and force people to live in fear of speaking out on the atrocities committed by the Government. UPM will end all these policies.

12. UPM will use traditional and modern conflict resolution systems and true reconciliation to create harmony, trust, better understanding, and lasting peace in Paanywaa so that its people will protect democratic gains, freedom, and their sovereign state from any external aggression.

13. UPM will promote and establish peaceful, cooperative, and bilateral relations with peace-loving neighbors and far-democratic countries to maintain regional and international peace and stability.

15. UPM has a fundamental responsibility and obligation to preserve national security and protect the security of individuals, the community, and the environment. Through this, the people of Paanywaa will enjoy and embrace the fullness of democratic values, cultures, and peace.

16.   UPM has committed to ensuring that any piece of land taken by forces from Paanywaa is returned by all available means.
