The 

United Paanywaa Movement (UPM) is a political and social organization established in February 2020 and led by its president and founder, Morcen Ojwok Omot. It seeks to reunite and liberate the Anyuak (Paanywaa) people and their land, spanning areas across Ethiopia and South Sudan—such as Gambella, Pochalla, and Akobo—by pursuing independence, modernization, and protection from perceived oppression.
